This is an informational translation. Vuelo Carmesí operates under Colombian law and the Spanish version of this policy is the one that prevails.
Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1074 of 2015: the framework behind this document
10 and 15 days business days to answer an enquiry and a complaint
Never sold your data is never sold or shared for advertising
Finca Agroturística Vuelo Carmesí, located at Vereda Brisas del Tonoa, Cubarral, Meta, Colombia, is the controller of the personal data collected through this site. For anything related to this document —including exercising your rights— write to carmesivuelo@gmail.com or call +57 311 817 1907.
What we collect
Contact form: your name, your email address and the message you write.
Experience booking: your name, email, phone number, number of people, the date and time you choose and any notes you add.
Shop order: your name, email, phone number, address and city, together with the products and quantities you ordered.
Group enquiry: the type of institution, its name and tax ID if you give it to us, the name and role of the person writing, email, phone number, number of people, ages, tentative date and anything else you want to tell us.
What we never ask for We do not ask for sensitive data —health, ethnic origin, beliefs, biometrics— or financial data. Nothing is charged online on this site: we will never ask you for a card number.
What we use them for
Answering your message, your booking request or your enquiry.
Confirming, coordinating and delivering the experience you booked, or preparing and shipping the order you placed.
Sending you the operational emails: confirmation, status changes and cancellation of your booking or order.
Meeting our obligations as a registered tourism provider: visitor records, National Tourism Registry requirements and child protection rules.
Keeping internal records of bookings, orders and enquiries, and the accounting and tax supporting documents required by law.
Marketing We do not use your data for advertising and we do not add you to any mailing list. If we ever want to write to you about something other than your booking or your order, we will ask you separately.
Your authorisation
By submitting any of the forms on this site you give us prior, express and informed authorisation to process the data you entered, for the purposes set out in this document and no others.
Giving it is voluntary, but without it we cannot provide the service: there is no way to confirm a booking without your name and phone number, or to ship an order without your address.
You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us. Withdrawal does not cover data we must keep while a legal or contractual obligation is still in force —for example, the supporting document for a sale already invoiced.
Your rights
To know, update and correct your data.
To ask for proof of the authorisation you gave us.
To be told what use we have made of them.
To access your data free of charge.
To withdraw your authorisation or ask us to delete your data, where no legal or contractual duty requires us to keep them.
To file complaints with the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce for breaches of the law.
How to exercise them
The channel is carmesivuelo@gmail.com. Write from the address you contacted us with, tell us what you need —to know, update, correct, delete or withdraw— and, if it is a correction, what the correct value is.
An enquiry is answered within ten business days at most. If we cannot, we tell you why and resolve it within the following five business days.
A complaint is handled within fifteen business days at most, counted from the day after we receive it. If we cannot, we tell you why and when we will resolve it, within the following eight business days.
If a complaint arrives incomplete, we tell you within five days so you can complete it. If two months go by without a reply from you, we understand you have withdrawn it.
Before the SIC The law requires you to go through this process with us before filing a complaint with the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce.
How long we keep them, and where
We keep them for as long as our relationship with you lasts and, afterwards, for as long as the legal, accounting and tax obligations arising from your booking or order remain in force. Once there is no reason to keep them, they are deleted.
The information lives in a database and on servers of infrastructure providers located in the United States: the site on Vercel, the server on Render and the database on Neon. Operational emails are sent through Google's email service and internal alerts reach the team through Telegram. By authorising the processing you also authorise that international transfer.
Those providers act as processors: they handle the data on our behalf and for the purposes of this document. We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising purposes and we do not hand it to third parties, unless a competent authority requires it.
The panel where bookings, orders and enquiries are managed is password protected and used only by the team members who handle that work.
Data of children and adolescents
The forms on this site are meant for adults. When a booking includes minors, their data is provided by the responsible adult, who is the one authorising its processing.
Data of minors is processed only when it serves their best interests and respects their fundamental rights. Entry requirements and what a minor's authorisation must contain are set out in the child protection policy.
This site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. No third party is measuring where you browse.
The only thing stored in your browser is technical: the shop cart and your last order, in your device's local storage, so you do not lose what you added if you reload the page. It does not leave your browser until you confirm the order, and you can clear it by emptying the cart or clearing the site's data.
The admin panel uses a session cookie, but it is only created when a team member logs in. Nothing is installed for someone visiting the site.
If this changes If we ever add an analytics tool, we will say so on this page and ask for your consent before switching it on.
